About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Grant Writer to join our dynamic team. This role plays an essential part in securing funding for our programs and initiatives, thus enabling us to continue empowering our community to unlock their potential and live better lives. The ideal candidate will excel in crafting compelling proposals and narratives to attract grants and sponsorships, both for specific projects and general organizational support.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and qualify funding opportunities from foundation, corporate, and government sources.
  • Develop and write grant proposals, applications, and letters of inquiry, aligning them with the organizational mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, content creators, and the financial team to gather required information and data.
  • Manage a grant submission calendar to ensure timely submission of all required applications and reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders and potential partners, including attending meetings, webinars, and industry events.
  • Prepare reports and updates to keep the organization and stakeholders informed about grant activities, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all materials, reflecting organizational values and mission.
  • Track metrics and analyze the effectiveness of grant applications, using data to improve future proposals.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Handle confidential information and manage data responsibly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Grant Writer, with a track record of securing significant funding.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Strong understanding of the non-profit sector, including funding trends and grant application processes.
  • Ability to distill complex information into compelling narratives and proposals.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Experience working remotely and in a multicultural team is a plus.
