Social Media Collaborator

About The Role

We are seeking a creative and strategic social media assistant/associate/specialist who excels at crafting viral engaging content and growing online communities. This role is key in connecting with our community members across the world, building brand awareness, and promoting our mission.

The Co-x3 Family Foundation is proud to be a 501(c)3 charitable organization. This volunteer position or internship is unpaid and completely remote. We can provide college credit for internships.

We are open to international candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & implement social media strategies in line with our goals and brand identity.
  • Create, curate, and manage content that resonates with audiences and has the potential for virality across various social media platforms, ensuring consistency in voice and branding.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to the community in a timely and engaging manner.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate social media activities with marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Assist in other marketing and community-building initiatives as needed.
  • Handle confidential information and manage data responsibly.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in social media management or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to create content that resonates with audiences and has the potential for virality.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (eg. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Experience working with digital marketing tools (eg., Buffer, Hootsuite).
  • Basic skills in graphic design and video editing are a plus.
  • Experience working remotely and in a multicultural team is preferred.
