Finance Manager

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations, including cost management, bookkeeping, and reporting compliance. Your expertise in financial planning and management will be pivotal in ensuring the financial sustainability and integrity of our non-profit organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage organizational budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow to support cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping, including the management of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, complying with non-profit reporting requirements and regulations.
  • Collaborate with department heads and project managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other financial professionals as required.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes that may affect the organization.
  • Handle confidential information and manage data responsibly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or similar professional certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in financial management within a non-profit organization is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in cost reduction and efficiency optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and reporting requirements specific to non-profits.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working remotely and in a multicultural team is a plus.
